General questions
The self-adhesive DURABASE WS sealing system is one of the safest.
This is also confirmed by the technical tests according to ETA and abP.
Our starter set with all components for self-adhesive sealing of a shower corner with a wall and floor area of up to 10 m². With 10sqm sealing film, 10m sealing tape, 1x internal corner, 2x pipe collar, 1 squeegee for crease-free pressing of the adhesive surfaces and 500ml primer spray.
Fast: sealing and tiling in one step
Clean: No dust – no mixing dirt – always clean work phases.
Dry: No introduction of water into the system.
More ecological: lower logistics and transport costs the super light and self adhesive
Simple: Easy to use – from trainee to apprentice to master craftsman.
Processing
The DURABASE WS self-adhesive sealing system bonds to a wide variety of materials such as wood, concrete, screed, plaster, plastics, stainless steel, glass, enamel and cementitious building materials. All parts of the sealing are flexibly stretchable and adapt optimally to the smallest unevenness.
If you want to be on the safe side, always use the DURABASE Primer. It is necessary on cementitious and porous substrates. It is helpful to carry out an adhesion test beforehand.
Always work in the following order: corners, sealing tapes, sealing membranes. Overlapping in this order avoids the possibility of moisture penetration.
